Typical dish of the cuisine of the south of Brazil,
appreciated from the simplest to the most sophisticated kitchen chef’s.

Ingredients:
500 grams of dried beef
or 500gr of fresh meat.
2 tablespoons oil.
2 cups rice Prato Gaúcho
1 chopped medium onion
2 chopped medium tomatoes
1 pinch of chilli
6 cups water
Preparation:
Preparation of dried meat:
Place the flesh in water for 24 hours in the refrigerator,
changing the water for several times.
Cook the meat until tender.
Cook onion and tomato in oil and add the chopped meat. Let it cook.
Add the rice and fry together with the meat, stirring constantly.
Add water and bring to a boil over high heat, with the uncovered pan.
When almost dry cover the pan and turn off the heat.
